Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog

The Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog is up and running, and guess what their first prize is? Peachy Keen Stamps - my favorite! Make sure to swing by to check out the blog, become a follower and leave a comment to win! Our design "inauguration" will be our very first blog hop on April 1st, which will showcase all of the designers' work. I can't wait for you to see what I made! It's one of my favorite projects so far, and it's also been a "hot item" at work - I've sold about 8 or 9 and I just made it over Spring Break! Check back April 1st to take a look!
See you then!!

Birthday Gift Tag - CWC DT Project

This week at Cooking with Cricut we had to design something using a lion or a lamb. I haven't had a chance to use one of my new cartridges, Life's a Party - which has the cuttest lion on it- so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get it out. Here's what I came up with...

My TX Stampede Calling Card Stash

I had a BLAST at the Texas Cricut Stampede!! Not only did I meet up with quite a few people that I've "known" through the MB, but I also made lots of new friends...and found out about lots of places in the DFW area to scrap! Anyways, I wanted to share the wonderful stash of calling cards I got - 107 total (+one of my own) - it was amazing seeing the designs everyone created...

Here's a close-up of just a few of my favorites...

Calling Cards for the Stampede

I am finally finished with my calling cards! Talk about last minute - the Stampede is tomorrow and I designed, cut and assembled them all in one day. I wanted something simple, but cute...yet not too "kiddie" like. Does that make sense?! Anyways, if I have some time later this evening, I'm going to try to decorate the little box I found to carry them in - which just happens to be the perfect size!

St. Patty's Day

St. Patty's Day is just around the corner, so what better theme than "Green" for this week's challenge at Cooking with Cricut (at least 2 shades, to be in particular)?! Have you ever tried green beer? I hear it's popular around this time of year. I haven't personally tried it myself, but I'm sure it gets you into the "celebrating mood" for this fun holiday! That was my inspiration for this week's project...

Green bear anyone?!

And what's a little celebration without some food?
Some devil's food cupcakes filled with cream cheese...
